The word “letting go” made me think a bit.When you keep stripping things away, what is it that truly remains?When you get to my age, you no longer have the freedom to choose,and things like status, health, pride, excitement… etc.are gradually stripped away.What is the true meaning of the last line?

Beautiful insight here, thank you. That last line really is hard to pin down, isn’t it? I hope it works on different levels to reveal meaning that is different for everyone.

Maybe we have direct perception of nature without the filters of what had been given away? Golden grass hums in the wind, sweet honey..
